Getting around

In Kusatsu Onsen, the town is small and easy to walk around. The Yubatake, a famous hot spring source, is right in the center, and most ryokan and attractions are just a short walk away.

Mount Shirane is about 30 minutes from the town by bus or car. It’s a popular spot for nature views and makes a great side trip from the hot spring area.
