Jizonoyu

Jizonoyu (地蔵の湯) is a charming, traditional bathhouse located in Kusatsu, just a five-minute walk from the iconic Yubatake, nestled on a quiet side street. This small, local favorite is known for its intimate, gender-separated baths that accommodate 4 to 6 people each, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing soak. The water at Jizonoyu is drawn directly from a natural spring situated right in front of the building, and it is famously hot, offering visitors a truly authentic onsen experience.

One of the unique features of Jizonoyu is its special Jikanyu therapy, a timed bathing method designed to improve circulation and promote overall health.
