Take a highway bus or the local Awakami Awahime community bus to Higashiura Bus Terminal. From there, it’s about a 10-minute taxi ride to the park.

Awaji Hanasajiki
Awaji Hanasajiki (あわじ花さじき), located on a wide plateau in northern Awaji Island, is a beautiful flower park where colorful seasonal flowers bloom throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy themed gardens such as the Healing Garden and Fureai Flower Garden, each offering a different view depending on the season. It’s a relaxing spot for walking, taking photos, and spending time with family, friends, or even your dog. Best of all, entry is free year-round.
A special highlight is the giant seasonal Earthwork, a 5,000-square-meter grass design that draws visitors with its impressive scale and artistry. You can also climb the Observational Deck for stunning views of the ocean, nearby islands, and a sky that seems to go on forever. After exploring, enjoy a meal at nearby cafés like Galleri, the veggie-focused Haru San-San, or indulge in fine French dining at Auberge French Forest.
