The Amami no Sato Folk Museum, located next to the Tanaka Isson Art Museum, is in Amami Park, near the airport in the northeast of Amami Island. It is about 40 minutes by car from central Amami. You can also take a bus to Amami Park, which takes 45–55 minutes and costs about 1,000 yen.
