Chichibu Festival Museum
Chichibu Festival Museum (秩父まつり会館, Chichibu Matsuri Kaikan) is a lively museum close to Chichibu Shrine that highlights the city’s rich festival traditions. Visitors can enjoy a short movie about the famous Chichibu Night Festival and view displays of traditional costumes, instruments, and other festive items. The museum shares the story behind the celebration and shows how these traditions continue today.
The main attraction is two large, beautifully decorated floats on the first floor. These floats become even more exciting during special projection mapping shows, which use lights and sound to recreate the energy of the festival. Whether you're learning about Chichibu’s culture or enjoying the colorful displays, Chichibu Festival Museum offers a fun and immersive experience for all ages.
