Shinshoji Temple is located on a hilly peninsula south of central Fukuyama, about 10 kilometers from Fukuyama Station.

By bus:
Buses depart twice an hour from the South Exit of Fukuyama Station toward Miroku no Sato, with a short break around noon. Get off at the Tenjinyama bus stop (25 minutes, 530 yen one way), then walk about 20 minutes to the temple. On weekends, some buses go directly to the Shinshoji bus stop next to the temple (30 minutes, 580 yen one way).
By car:
Driving from central Fukuyama to Shinshoji Temple takes about 30 minutes. You can rent a car near Fukuyama Station or take a taxi for around 4,500 yen one way.
From Tomonoura:
There is no direct public transportation. A taxi ride takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately 5,000 yen.





Shinshoji Temple
