Spa Resort Hawaiians
Spa Resort Hawaiians, located in Iwaki, is a unique destination that blends water park fun, onsen relaxation, and vibrant Hawaiian-themed entertainment. Originally established in 1966 as the Joban Hawaiian Center, it became Japan's first theme park and has since become one of the most beloved spots for tourists. A standout feature of the resort is the iconic Hula Girls dance troupe, whose performances have been a central part of the resort’s identity from the start. Their performances became especially meaningful after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami when the Hula Girls toured evacuation centers, spreading messages of hope and recovery to communities affected by the disaster.
The resort offers a wide variety of attractions for visitors of all ages. The Water Park area includes indoor pools, thrilling water slides, and an energetic dance stage, all set against a tropical Hawaiian backdrop. Outdoors, the Spa Garden Pareo is a peaceful retreat with Jacuzzis, pools, and saunas, perfect for unwinding. For those seeking a more traditional experience, Spa Resort Hawaiians features two onsen areas, including the Edo Jowa Yoichi, Japan's largest outdoor bath, where guests can enjoy an authentic, relaxing onsen experience. Visitors can also take Hawaiian dance lessons, play a round of golf at the nearby 27-hole course, or indulge in the resort’s hotels and restaurants for a complete and rejuvenating getaway.
