Spa Resort Hawaiians, located in Iwaki, is a one-of-a-kind destination offering a mix of water park fun, onsen relaxation, and vibrant Hawaiian-themed entertainment. Established in 1966 as Joban Hawaiian Center, it became Japan's first theme park and has been a favorite spot for tourists ever since. The resort’s main attraction is the iconic Hula Girls dance troupe, whose performances have been a key part of the resort’s identity from the very beginning. These performances gained even more significance after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, as the Hula Girls toured evacuation centers, spreading messages of hope and recovery to affected communities.

The resort is packed with diverse attractions to keep visitors entertained. The Water Park area features indoor pools, thrilling water slides, and a lively dance stage, all set in a tropical Hawaiian atmosphere. Outdoors, Spa Garden Pareo offers Jacuzzis, pools, and a sauna, perfect for unwinding. The resort also has two onsen areas, including the Edo Jowa Yoichi, Japan’s largest outdoor bath, offering guests an authentic and tranquil onsen experience. Visitors can also take Hawaiian dance lessons, enjoy the nearby 27-hole golf course, or relax at the resort’s hotels and restaurants for a complete and rejuvenating stay.
