From JR Wakayama Station or JR Kainan Station, take the Wakayama Bus bound for Marina City. The ride takes about 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Marina City bus stop — the attractions are all within walking distance from there.

Porto Europe
Porto Europe (ポルトヨーロッパ) is a charming European-style theme park located along Wakayama’s coast, inside the popular Marina City resort. It recreates the atmosphere of historic cities like Paris, Venice, and Spain with cobbled streets, castles, and waterfronts. The park’s picturesque setting is perfect for leisurely walks and photo opportunities that make you feel like you’ve stepped into Europe—without ever leaving Japan.
While the architecture is the main draw, Porto Europe also offers family-friendly rides, seasonal events, and souvenir shops. It’s free to enter the park grounds, and you can choose to pay only for the attractions you want to enjoy. Just a short walk from Kuroshio Market and hot spring facilities, Porto Europe makes for a fun and scenic addition to your Marina City adventure.
