Hinjitsukan (賓日館) is a stunning wooden guesthouse built in 1887, located near the iconic Meoto Iwa rocks along the coast of Futami in Ise City. Originally constructed to host imperial visitors to the nearby Ise Shrines, it now functions as a museum showcasing exquisite Meiji-era architecture. The guesthouse features a blend of traditional Japanese and Western-style rooms, highlighted by the elegant Grand Hall upstairs, which spans 120 tatami mats and is adorned with ornate chandeliers and lavish Momoyama-style gold-leaf ceilings.

Surrounded by a tranquil garden meticulously designed by master gardeners, the building offers visitors a serene atmosphere enhanced by winding stone paths. Inside, you can explore the Goten no Ma room, which boasts picturesque views of both the sea and the garden, as well as other rooms filled with artworks and exhibits that tell the story of the local history. While the exhibit signs are primarily in Japanese, English pamphlets are available to guide visitors through this cultural treasure, making it accessible and enriching for all.
