From Nara to Yoshino

  • By train

  • From Nara, you can reach Yoshino in about 90–95 minutes by train: take the Kintetsu Line from Kintetsu Nara Station with two transfers (1030 yen, Kansai Pass holders pay 520 yen extra), or take JR from JR Nara Station to Yoshino-guchi, then transfer to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line (total 1230 yen, Japan Rail Pass covers only the JR part).

From Kyoto to Yoshino

  • From Kyoto, you can reach Yoshino in about 100–130 minutes by Kintetsu trains with one transfer at Kashiharajingu-mae (1480 yen by express or 2820 yen by limited express with seat reservation), or take JR trains with up to three transfers (about 160 minutes, 1980 yen) to Yoshino-guchi, then transfer to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line (30 min, 460 yen, not covered by the Japan Rail Pass).

From Osaka to Yoshino

  • By train

  • From Osaka, you can reach Yoshino in 75–90 minutes by Kintetsu trains from Osaka Abenobashi Station—1170 yen by express or 1690 yen by limited express with seat reservation—or take JR from Tennoji Station with a transfer at Oji (about 100 minutes, 1320 yen total), then switch to the Kintetsu Yoshino Line at Yoshino-guchi (30 min, 460 yen, not covered by the Japan Rail Pass).
