From Tokyo, you can fly to Nagasaki in about 2 hours. JAL, ANA, and Solaseed fly from Haneda Airport, while Jetstar flies from Narita. Regular tickets on JAL and ANA cost around 44,000 yen, but discounts often bring it down to 13,500–33,000 yen. Solaseed is about 20% cheaper than JAL/ANA, and Jetstar fares start around 7,000 yen. From Nagasaki Airport, it takes 45 minutes by bus to reach the city center, and the ride costs 1,200 yen.

From Osaka, you can fly to Nagasaki in about 70 minutes. JAL and ANA fly from Itami, Peach from Kansai, and Skymark from Kobe. From Nagasaki Airport, it’s a 45-minute bus ride to the city center for 1,200 yen.

From Osaka, take the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Hakata (about 2.5 hours), then transfer to the Relay Kamome and Nishikyushu Shinkansen via Takeo Onsen to reach Nagasaki in 4 to 4.5 hours for around 19,000–21,000 yen; Japan Rail Pass covers Sakura trains, but not Nozomi or Mizuho, and sometimes it's faster to transfer at Shin-Tosu instead of Hakata.
