Getting around

Saitama has several train lines that pass through the city, with Omiya Station as the main transportation hub. From here, you can easily travel to many popular tourist spots, including The Railway Museum via the New Shuttle. The Tobu Noda Line also connects key attractions.

You can use Suica, Pasmo, and other IC cards from major cities on all trains in Saitama. If you enjoy walking, Omiya Park is a 20-30 minute walk from Omiya Station, and the Bonsai Village is 15 minutes further. The Railway Museum is about a 30-minute walk north of Omiya Station.
