• To travel from Ishigaki Island to Taketomi Island, three ferry companies offer fast ferries and occasional car ferries. Ferries run every 30 to 60 minutes from 7:30 to 17:30, with a break at noon. The fast ferry takes 10 minutes, while the car ferry takes 15 minutes. A round-trip ticket costs 1700 yen.
