Nijigen no Mori Theme Park

1 of 12 in Awaji Island

Nijigen no Mori (ニジゲンノモリ) is an open-air theme park on Awaji Island where anime, manga, and video game worlds are brought to life on a grand scale. Set within the forested grounds of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park, the attractions blend nature with interactive storytelling, allowing visitors to step directly into their favorite universes. At the Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, families can enjoy zip lines and obstacle courses among the trees, while fans of Naruto and Boruto can explore a full-scale recreation of the Hidden Leaf Village, complete with shop signs, training grounds, character murals, and Hokage Rock towering overhead.

Elsewhere in the park, the Godzilla Interception Operation features a colossal, life-size Godzilla partially embedded in the earth, where visitors take part in a mission to neutralize the creature by ziplining toward its massive jaws and joining a research-style walkthrough. Dragon Quest Island transforms guests into the heroes of a live-action RPG, with quests, monster encounters, and progression unfolding across forest paths and village-like settings. Restaurants, themed cafés, and original merchandise shops round out the experience, making the park an exciting destination for anime fans, gamers, and families seeking outdoor adventure.
