Kehi Jingu Shrine
Kehi Jingu Shrine (氣比神宮, Kehi Jingū) stands as one of the most important shrines in the Hokuriku Region. Founded in the year 702, this historic site has been a spiritual center for centuries. Visitors are welcomed by a striking 11-meter-tall wooden torii gate, which is considered one of the three greatest in Japan, alongside the famous gates of Kasuga Shrine in Nara and Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima.
The peaceful grounds offer a chance to experience traditional shrine architecture and a calm atmosphere surrounded by nature. Whether you're interested in Japanese history or just want to see one of the country’s most impressive gates, Kehi Jingu offers a beautiful and meaningful place to explore.
