Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Tower (東京タワー), soaring 333 meters above the Minato district, is one of Tokyo’s most iconic landmarks and a proud symbol of Japan’s post-war rebirth. Modeled after the Eiffel Tower but painted in vibrant red and white to meet air safety regulations, it was completed in 1958 and remained Japan’s tallest structure until Tokyo Skytree surpassed it in 2012. While the tower still serves its original role as a broadcasting antenna, it has also become a major tourist attraction, drawing millions of visitors each year. Guests can ascend to the Main Deck at 150 meters, which features sweeping city views, thrilling glass-floor viewing panels, a souvenir shop, and a cozy café—perfect for relaxing while taking in the skyline.
For those seeking even greater heights, a dedicated elevator leads to the Top Deck at 250 meters, where visitors are treated to a breathtaking 360-degree view that, on clear days, stretches all the way to Mount Fuji. At the base, the Foot Town complex enhances the experience with various dining spots, gift shops, and attractions for all ages. A highlight for families and gamers is the Red Tokyo Tower, an e-sports and entertainment zone filled with interactive games and immersive digital fun. Whether you come during the day for sharp city vistas or at night to watch Tokyo light up, Tokyo Tower offers an unforgettable experience—fusing retro charm with modern excitement.

Tokyo Tower is a fantastic spot to visit! The views from the observation deck are stunning, giving you a beautiful panorama of Tokyo's skyline. I went in the evening, and seeing the city lights sparkle was magical. The atmosphere is lively, and the tower's iconic red and white design adds to its charm.
There are also shops and cafes inside, making it a fun place to explore. I enjoyed learning about the tower's history and taking photos. It’s a great spot for sightseeing and soaking in the vibrant energy of Tokyo!5 months ago — by Wesley
