Tokyo Skytree
Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) dominates the Tokyo skyline at a soaring height of 634 meters, making it not only the tallest structure in Japan but also a must-visit destination in Sumida City. Its main observation area, the Tembo Deck, is located 350 meters above ground and spans three levels. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the sprawling cityscape, relax at a panoramic café, browse a stylish souvenir shop, or dine at the upscale Musashi Sky Restaurant, which offers refined Japanese cuisine with stunning vistas. One of the deck’s most thrilling features is its glass floor panels—inviting the brave to look straight down for a vertigo-inducing view of the streets far below.
The adventure continues with a ride up a second elevator to the Tembo Galleria, an extraordinary glass-enclosed skywalk that begins at 445 meters and spirals upward to a height of 451.2 meters—Japan’s highest observation point. As you walk along this ascending corridor in the sky, you’re treated to breathtaking 360-degree views, offering a unique sense of floating above the city. At the base of the tower, Tokyo Skytree Town offers even more to explore, including Sumida Aquarium, Konica Minolta Planetarium, and hundreds of shops and restaurants. With its seamless blend of modern design, thrilling heights, and all-day entertainment, Tokyo Skytree is far more than a viewpoint—it’s an immersive experience that captures the dynamic spirit of Tokyo.

Tokyo Skytree is an absolute must-visit! The views from the observation decks are breathtaking, offering panoramic sights of Tokyo's sprawling cityscape. On a clear day, you can even spot Mount Fuji in the distance. The experience is truly mesmerizing, especially at sunset when the city lights start to twinkle.
The building itself is impressive, and the shopping and dining options add to the experience. I enjoyed exploring the shops and having a meal with a view. It’s a bit pricey, but the stunning views make it worth every yen!4 months ago — by Wesley
