The Kyushu National Museum is a 5-minute walk from Tenmangu Shrine along a dedicated path. From Dazaifu Station, it’s a 10-15 minute walk.

Buses run once an hour from Dazaifu Station (3 minutes, 170 yen), JR Futsukaichi Station (20 minutes, 370 yen), and Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station (25 minutes, 370 yen). Get off at the Kyushu-kokuritsu-hakubutsukan-mae stop and walk 5 minutes to the museum.
