Taiyo Park

12 of 12 in Himeji

Taiyo Park (太陽公園, Taiyō Kōen), located at the base of Mt. Mineai, offers visitors an extraordinary journey through some of the world's most iconic heritage sites. The Stone Area is home to meticulously crafted replicas of famous landmarks, such as the Great Wall of China, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Moai statues of Easter Island. One of the most impressive features of the park is the ancient Terra Cotta Warriors, carefully recreated using the same traditional methods as the originals. These lifelike warriors, alongside other monumental structures, provide a unique opportunity to experience far-off places and eras without leaving Japan.

Beyond the Stone Area, Taiyo Park also features the Castle Area, where visitors can explore a stunning replica of a medieval European Swan Castle. The park offers a rare combination of historical education and cultural enrichment, making it an ideal destination for families, history enthusiasts, and travelers of all ages. From the awe-inspiring warriors to the grandeur of the castle, Taiyo Park provides an immersive experience that brings the world's rich heritage to life in an accessible and engaging way.
