From Sapporo to Niseko

From December to March, several bus companies offer direct rides from hotels in Sapporo or Sapporo Station to Niseko’s main ski resorts: Hirafu, Niseko Village, and Annupuri.
The trip takes 2.5 to 4 hours and costs 5000–5500 yen one way. Round-trip discounts and lift ticket packages are available. In the off-season, there are fewer buses, and fares drop to around 2000 yen.

By train

You can take a local or rapid train from Sapporo to Kutchan Station, usually with a transfer at Otaru. The trip takes about 2 hours and costs 2100 yen. It's fully covered by the Japan Rail Pass and Hokkaido Rail Pass.
Kutchan Station is the main transport hub for Niseko. From there, buses run (not very often) to Hirafu in 15 minutes, Niseko Village in 30 minutes, and Annupuri in 45 minutes (winter only).
