From Tokyo to Okayama

From Tokyo, you can fly to Okayama with JAL or ANA from Haneda Airport. The flight takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tickets usually cost around 40,000 yen, but you can often find discounts for 16,000–18,000 yen. Once you arrive, a bus will take you to Okayama Station in 30 minutes for 780 yen.

From Tokyo, you can take the Shinkansen to Okayama. It costs about 17,000 yen one way. The Nozomi train takes around 3.5 hours, and the Hikari train takes about 4 hours. If you have a Japan Rail Pass, the Hikari train is fully covered. For the Nozomi, you'll need to pay extra.
