                                                        Gujo Hachiman Castle
Gujo Hachiman Castle (郡上八幡城, Gujō-Hachimanjō), originally built in 1559, stands atop a hill offering stunning views of the town below. Rebuilt in 1933 with wood instead of concrete, it retains a traditional charm, although its interior design differs from the original. Surrounded by nature, the castle is a serene escape into Japan's history.
Autumn transforms the area into a breathtaking spectacle as vibrant maple leaves blanket the hill. The castle becomes even more enchanting during the evening light displays in early to mid-November, making it a must-visit for leaf lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
