Legoland Japan
Legoland Japan Resort, opened in 2017 in Nagoya, is a vibrant outdoor theme park tailor-made for families with children aged 2 to 12. Spanning seven themed zones, the park is filled with colorful Lego sculptures, age-appropriate rides, creative play areas, and immersive dining experiences. At its heart lies Miniland Japan—a dazzling miniature world where over 10 million Lego bricks recreate iconic landmarks like Tokyo Tower, Kyoto’s Kiyomizu-dera, and Mount Fuji. For a bird’s-eye view, hop aboard the rotating Observation Tower, which offers sweeping views of the park and Nagoya Bay.
Just beyond the gates, the Factory zone lets guests watch how real Lego bricks are made before diving into hands-on workshops in Bricktopia. Kids can earn a Lego driver’s license in Lego City, explore ancient ruins in Adventure, or join live-action pirate and knight shows in Pirate Shores and Knight’s Kingdom. Outside the main park, the Legoland Hotel continues the fun with themed rooms and child-friendly amenities, while the adjacent Sea Life Nagoya Aquarium showcases marine life through interactive exhibits. With shops, restaurants, and enough activities for a multi-day visit, Legoland Japan is a top destination for families seeking fun and discovery in the Chubu region.
