Meiji Mura

Meiji Mura (明治村, meaning "Meiji Village") is one of Japan's premier open-air museums, offering an immersive journey through Japan’s Meiji Period (1868-1912). Located in Inuyama, just an hour outside of Nagoya, the museum sits in a picturesque wooded area near Iruka Pond. The Meiji period was a transformative time for Japan, marking its shift from a feudal society to a modernized nation.
