Fukuda Farm

4 of 4 in Minamata

Fukuda Farm (福田農場, Fukuda Nōjō), also known as Yunoko Spain Village, is a scenic hilltop attraction in southern Kyushu overlooking the beautiful coastline above Yunoko Onsen. The farm offers sweeping ocean views and a vibrant landscape that changes with the seasons. Colorful flowers bloom year-round, creating a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls and photography. In October and November, the farm becomes especially lively as visitors take part in mikan (mandarin) picking from the lush plantations covering the rugged hillsides—an activity cherished by both families and couples.

What sets Fukuda Farm apart is its commitment to homemade, locally produced goods. The on-site souvenir shop offers a wide selection of products, including wines, beer, fruit juices, jams, breads, and salad dressings—all made with ingredients grown on the farm. Many of these items are also featured at Valencia-kan, the farm’s Spanish-style restaurant, where guests can enjoy fresh, seasonal meals with a Mediterranean flair. Adding to its charm, a quirky exhibition of turtle figurines and toys from around the world brings a playful, unexpected element to the experience, making Fukuda Farm a memorable and family-friendly destination.
