Spain Mura

8 of 11 in Ise Shima

Shima Spain Mura (志摩スペイン村), also known as Parque España, is a lively theme park in Mie Prefecture that brings the spirit of Spain to the heart of Japan’s Shima Peninsula. Designed with a flair reminiscent of Disneyland, the park combines vibrant Iberian architecture with thrilling attractions for all ages. Guests can enjoy high-speed roller coasters, a splash-filled lagoon ride, and a whimsical fun house full of surprises. Authentic flamenco performances capture the passion of Spanish dance, while themed parades and street shows enhance the festive, immersive atmosphere. Numerous shops and restaurants throughout the park offer everything from Japanese comfort food to Spanish tapas, churros, and paella.

Next to the park is Himawari-no-Yu, a natural hot spring bathhouse where visitors can unwind while taking in scenic views of the surrounding countryside—a perfect way to relax after a fun-filled day. Shima Spain Mura is particularly busy on weekends and Japanese holidays, so visiting on a weekday or during the off-season provides a more relaxed experience with shorter lines. With its colorful setting, engaging performances, family-friendly rides, and rare blend of Japanese hospitality and Spanish flair, the park offers a unique and memorable destination for visitors of all ages.
