Togo Shrine is easily accessible by train. The nearest station is Harajuku Station on the JR Yamanote Line, just a short walk away. You can also use Meiji-Jingumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda and Fukutoshin Lines, which is conveniently located nearby. From Shibuya Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk. The shrine’s central location near Harajuku makes it easy to visit while exploring the area.

Togo Shrine
Togo Shrine (東郷神社), a peaceful Shinto shrine in Tokyo, honors Admiral Togo, the naval hero who led Japan to victory in the Russo-Japanese War of 1905. Surrounded by lush greenery, this serene retreat offers visitors a glimpse into Japan’s maritime history and spiritual traditions.
Once home to the popular Togo Antique Market, the shrine attracted collectors on the first Sunday of each month until its discontinuation in 2009. Today, Togo Shrine remains a place of reflection, where visitors can pay respects to Admiral Togo and enjoy a quiet escape from the city's bustle.
