National Museum of Western Art
The National Museum of Western Art (国立西洋美術館) in Tokyo is a cultural gem showcasing a remarkable collection of Western art, primarily by European artists. The museum features rotating exhibitions from its own collection, as well as temporary special exhibitions that highlight different aspects of Western art history. Notably, it is the only building in Japan designed by the renowned architect Le Corbusier and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, along with other buildings by the pioneer of modern architecture.
This museum not only offers a chance to view significant Western art but also provides an architectural marvel, blending art with history.
