Yurakucho is easily accessible from Yurakucho Station. Take the JR Yamanote Line to Yurakucho Station, and the district is just a short walk from the station’s main exits. Alternatively, it’s a short walk from Tokyo Station, just one stop away on the JR Yamanote Line.

Yurakucho
Yurakucho (有楽町, Yūrakuchō), located just one stop south of Tokyo Station on the JR Yamanote Line, is a vibrant district blending modern charm with old Tokyo vibes. While it shares its neighbor Ginza’s excellent shopping and dining options, Yurakucho offers a more relaxed, approachable atmosphere. One of its highlights is Gado-shita, the lively restaurant district under the train tracks, where you can enjoy everything from traditional izakaya and yakitori to elegant French wine bars and German beer halls.
The district extends into Ginza’s eastern gateway, home to pedestrian-friendly plazas and shopping complexes like ITOCiA and Lumine. On Yurakucho's west side, you'll find the striking Tokyo International Forum, a hub for events and exhibitions, alongside an impressive Bic Camera store with eight floors of electronics. Yurakucho is perfect for those seeking a mix of culture, dining, and shopping in a unique setting.

5/5 - Excellent
I had a fantastic dinner night in Yurakucho! The area under the train tracks, known as Gado-shita, was buzzing with energy. I enjoyed delicious yakitori and cold beer at a cozy izakaya, where the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. The variety of restaurants is amazing, with options ranging from casual food stalls to elegant French wine bars. After dinner, I took a stroll through the nearby pedestrian plaza, where I explored some shopping spots. Yurakucho offers a perfect mix of great food, a laid-back vibe, and vibrant city life. Highly recommended!
