The museum is a short walk from Grandplaza-mae tram stop, which you can reach by taking tram line 3 or 6. It takes about 12 minutes from Toyama Station and costs 210 yen. The museum is also just a few hundred meters south of Toyama Castle Park.

Toyama Glass Art Museum (富山ガラス美術館, Toyama Garasu Bijutsukan) is a striking destination in Toyama City, located inside the stunning Kirari building designed by acclaimed architect Kuma Kengo. This impressive space also houses the city’s public library, blending art and architecture beautifully under one roof.
Inside, the museum displays a captivating range of glass artwork from around the world. Its permanent exhibitions span the fourth and sixth floors, with the fourth showcasing modern glass creations by global artists. On the sixth floor, visitors can explore the breathtaking Glass Art Garden, a series of dramatic installations by world-famous artist Dale Chihuly. Temporary exhibits are featured throughout other galleries, making each visit unique.
