From Tokyo to Shizuoka

Tokyo and Shizuoka are connected by the JR Tokaido Shinkansen. The Hikari train takes about 60 minutes, and the Kodama train takes 90 minutes. Nozomi trains don't stop at Shizuoka. A one-way ticket costs 5940 yen for an unreserved seat or around 6500 yen for a reserved seat. The Japan Rail Pass covers both Hikari and Kodama trains.
